Zelda started her journey as a volunteer at a baby sanctuary. She then realized the need for babies to be taken care of. She did this together with her husband and her mother thought she was insane, but soon thereafter, she too fell in love with Zelda's first brown-eyed little boy.
To date, Zelda has six beautiful babies ageing from four months to two years. On her journey, she’s crossed paths with a lot of people who sought advice from her and also supported her in her quest to create her own foster home.

Children are placed in foster care for different reasons that include: abuse, deliberate neglect and exploitation. Foster care is a form of alternative care for a child who, as a result of a court order, is in the care of a person who is not his or her parent or guardian.
